How to create a TikTok account
- Download TikTok to your smartphone or iPad from the App Store or Google Play.
- Open the TikTok app and selecthow to register.
- Enter your birthday. TikTok requires users to be at least 13 years old to create and have accountsother age-related restrictionson the platform to keep the community safe.
- If you use a phone number or email address to create a TikTok account, you'll be prompted to enter it and create a password.
- Choose your username. If you're a business, it's a good idea to use the same username for all of your social media accounts so your customers can find you more easily. Whatever you choose, make sure it's easy to remember. You can always change it later!
That's all! From here you can sync your contacts to find friends in the app. TikTok also asks you to complete your profile by doing three things:
- Add a profile photo.
- Add your bio.
- Add your name.
You can also add your pronouns and link your Instagram and YouTube accounts by tappingEdit profile.
How to make a TikTok video
- Tap on the+sign at the bottom of the screen. You can also writecreate videoson your profile page.
- Use existing video from your camera roll or start filming by touching the redRecordGusto.
- When you record, you can choose to create a 15-second, 60-second, or 3-minute video. TikTok now allows you to upload up to 10 minutes of video.
- Trim the length of your clips by tappingcustomize clipsin the menu on the right.
- addMusicby touching the button at the top of the screen. TikTok recommends tracks based on your video content, but you can also use the search bar to find other songs or sound effects.

- Tap on the+sign at the bottom of the screen.

- Select the videos you want to include, up to a maximum of 35 videos. DefeatNextkeep going.
- To defeatadjust clipto reorder your videos. You can also add music or sound effects. TikTok will suggest audio clips based on your video content and the length of your clips. You can chooseStandardif you want to use the audio in your original video. When you're done, tapNext.

- You can also add oneNarration. This overlays the original audio in your video clips or the track you've selected.

- Tap on the+sign at the bottom of the screen.

- Select up to 35 images to include. Select them in the order you want them to appear; unlike video clips, you can't rearrange them while editing them.
- Once you have all your photos, clickNextto add music, effects, stickers and more.
- Your photos will appear invideo mode, which means they play in order. you can change tooPhoto mode, which allows users to switch between images like in a slideshow.
- CanChoose a song or sound effecttapping or pressing the music button at the topNarrationto record an audio track to accompany your images.
- When you're done, add your title and hashtags, tag other users, and edit your video settings.

How to create a 3 minute TikTok
There are three easy ways to create a 3 minute TikTok video. The first way is to record it in the application:
- Tap on the+sign at the bottom of your screen to start a new video.
- Slide to choose a recording duration of 3 minutes. You can stop and start your recording by touching the redRecordGusto.
- Once you have 3 minutes of footage, you can add your video effects, music, voiceovers, and more.
The other option isUpload video clips and edit together.
- Tap on the+sign at the bottom of the screen.
- To defeatmove upand select your clips. You can choose more than 3 minutes of clips!
- On the next screen, tapcustomize clips. You can trim and rearrange each video from here until it is 3 minutes total.

How to Schedule a TikTok Video
